CAPS has about 8-24 trainees every semester.  Trainees are on the path toward their masters degrees in counseling psychology or social work.  Practical training is both an important part of their education toward degree but also a necessary step toward licensure in the mental health field.  Trainees are supervised by licensed mental health clinicians.
